Uncovering The World's Best Kept Secret

Winter At Tantora

Winter at Tantora brings you closer to the very best of AlUla, shining a light on history, culture, art, music, dining and more, presenting a seasonal spectacle that captures the essence of the region. Named in honour of the traditional sundial in the heart of Old Town, around which for centuries residents gathered together to mark the beginning of the planting season, this flagship festival offers an immersive experience into the rich traditions of AlUla and northwest Arabia.

Archeological traces turning into symbols

Al-Ula rocks and mountains are a library that contains archeological drawings, petroglyphs, writings, and animal figures. This visual heritage that the region holds used to be a form of communication for the previous civilizations that passed in this area. We decided to reconstruct this graphical library and use it for the identity of "Winter at Tantora".

The logo represents layers of history and a glimpse into the future. Its modern, minimalistic design reflects the depth of the past and the transition towards a future of tourism in Al-Ula.

Al-Ula is known for its red rocks, mud houses, green oases, and blue skies, creating a rich color palette for our brand that connects us to the location.

The brand's primary color is black, which plays a vital role in the overall visual identity, prominently featured in the logo, graphical elements, and typography. This bold choice conveys sophistication and elegance. Complementing this, the supporting colors are thoughtfully selected from the natural landscape of Al-Ula. These hues embody an earthy vibe that resonates with the region's rich scenery, featuring a palette of warm, organic tones accented by delicate variations of pastel shades. This combination not only enhances the brand's connection to Al-Ula's unique environment but also adds depth and warmth to its overall aesthetic.

The layouts were developed from the original graphical shape, incorporating a range of variations designed to establish a versatile visual system.

This system is intended to be effective across multiple types of communication, including print, digital, and multimedia formats. By doing so, it ensures that messages can be conveyed clearly and consistently, regardless of the medium used. The adaptability of the design allows for seamless integration into different contexts, enhancing the overall communication experience.
